Au Bon Marché has been serving communities across Vanuatu since 1973. Over the years, the company has grown in response to the changing needs of the population, providing reliable access to everyday goods and essential services.

As Port Vila expanded and residential areas developed, Au Bon Marché opened stores in key locations to ensure customers could shop close to where they live. This approach has guided the steady growth of our retail network:

  • Au Bon Marché Numbatu (1973)
  • Au Bon Marché Manples (1993)
  • Au Bon Marché Downtown (1999)
  • Au Bon Marché Numbatu (2003)
  • Au Bon Marché Central (2006)
  • Au Bon Marché Freshwater (2012)
  • Au Bon Marché Tassiriki (2017)

The Downtown outlet was damaged during the 2024 earthquake and is planned to be rebuilt. The Central outlet is currently closed until further notice due to the same event.

Each store is located with accessibility and convenience in mind. Promotions and special offers are applied consistently across all main outlets so that customers in different areas receive the same value. Through its retail operations, Au Bon Marché remains focused on meeting the everyday needs of the communities it serves.
